Prior to becoming a freelance designer, my professional background was originally focused in the field of Engineering. I graduated with a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering at USC, and worked as a flight test engineer for 3 years with The Boeing Company.

However, alongside my engineering pursuits, I have a keen interest for drawing and visual design. I am drawn to how these fields can be used to address complex problems and foster connection. In 2023, I left my engineering job to complete a year-long Honours Degree in Visual Communication at the Stellenbosch Academy of Design in South Africa. I now work from Seattle, Washington as a freelance designer and illustrator.
